To: The Citizens of the Town of Ulster

It is my privilege and honor to serve you as the Supervisor of our town. I have the benefit of working with a great team. Our Town Councilmen, Town Clerk, Department heads and staff, all help to make the Town of Ulster a great community to live and work in. We have been successful.

• We have maintained annual budgets that have kept the Town in a healthy financial position
• We have worked with new businesses to encourage them to make this Town their home
• We have worked with existing business to help them grow and prosper
• We have negotiated tax settlements that are reasonable for the taxpayer and the Town
• We have set up laws to control and limit power generation facilities within our Town
• We have developed “shared services” and cooperative agreements with other local municipalities that has saved the Town significant one time and reoccuring costs
• We are working with Federal and State Officials the NYSDEC to protect our local communities such as Tech City (former IBM facility), East Kingston Quarry ridge and the Eddyville dam.a

We have many more challenges ahead.
I will continue to need a good team to work with as I manage the town
